Who they are

The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) is now a 35 person nonprofit association. In 2017, they made a progressive business shift and spun out of an association management company, effectively becoming a stand-alone, start-up organization. NAHQ needed to hire 10 employees in three months, effectively doubling the size of their company at that time.

How we helped

NAHQ partnered with Hirewell for a Managed Recruiting program, which included 8 initial hires in a three month period, then 3 additional hires later in the year.  Hirewell’s recruiting lead managed the process and was supported by the rest of Hirewell’s delivery team.

Hirewell supported NAHQ as we transitioned from a shared services model to a stand-alone entity. We needed to staff up quickly and Hirewell took on five recruiting assignments simultaneously, which grew our staff by 30% in 3 months. After the initial hiring surge, they've helped us continue to add great talent across our organization.

What do you like best?

Hirewell took the time to understand both the talent and fit priorities that were important to NAHQ leadership. Culture is very important to us, and we needed to know that it was important to our recruiter too. I like the Hirewell team because they "get it" and they "get it done."

Jeff and the Hirewell team have the experience and savvy to know how to manage difficult hires and expectations from clients. As we recruited for executive positions, conversations got harder and expectations for the hire got more intense. Jeff and I were able to find a common ground, and level with each other when needed because we both cared so deeply about finding the right candidates for NAHQ. What do you dislike?

There is nothing that I can think of. Hirewell has been great to work with.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to hire top talent quickly. And we had to do it in a cost efficient way. We've been able to accomplish some amazing things as an organization, and the people we've hired have really contributed to our success.
