Team Lead, Front End Development

We are seeking a driven and accomplished leader to join our Front End Development team. This role will focus on building impactful applications for both our trading and tech departments. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success as both an individual contributor and a leader, with a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to develop systems that meet trading needs.
• Divide responsibilities within the team, ensuring clear project goals and tasks.
• Identify system inefficiencies and contribute to the architecture of future solutions.
• Manage team-owned components, from addressing production issues to strategic planning.
• Encourage teamwork, drive initiatives, and maintain a positive team culture.
• Lead training and mentorship efforts to build cross-functional expertise within the team.
• Contribute code to push key projects forward, setting a strong example.
• Ensure smooth integration of team projects with the overall system architecture.
• Handle team conflicts professionally while promoting a respectful, productive environment.
• Continuously enhance team efficiency, code quality, and adoption of new technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in front end development.
• Strong background in designing and architecting full-cycle software solutions.
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Proficiency in ReactJS and/or similar web libraries/frameworks.
• Experience in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Python, and/or C++.
• Strong experience integrating backend services using REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Excellent UI design skills with a focus on user-friendly applications.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Hands-on experience with business application development.
• Proven ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a balance of technical and interpersonal expertise.
