Job Title: Lead Aerial Equipment Installer
Location: Cumming, GA
Salary: $28–$31/hour, based on experience + performance bonus

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Installer with a strong mechanical and structural background to supervise and install elevated sports equipment, such as ceiling-mounted basketball hoops and related overhead systems. The ideal candidate will lead field installation teams, work with contractors on construction sites, and ensure that all projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a crew for the installation of ceiling-mounted basketball systems and other athletic equipment.
- Read and interpret architectural/blueprint drawings to ensure accurate equipment placement and structural integrity.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, secure, and install large-scale sports equipment.
- Work at heights in gymnasiums and athletic facilities, utilizing lifts, scaffolding, or other safety equipment.
- Coordinate with general contractors and site superintendents to align project timelines and resolve installation challenges.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure all installations meet safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues during installation and perform on-site adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment installation, rigging, or construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/architectural drawings to execute precise installations.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to take accurate measurements using a tape measure.
- Experience working in elevated environments (scaffolding, lifts, rafters) with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Prior experience in leading installation teams or supervising construction site work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle on-site challenges.
- Ability to work closely with general contractors and site supervisors to ensure project completion.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in rigging, mechanical construction, or structural steel installation.
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
- Experience with gymnasium/sports facility construction.
