Position Overview
The People Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative operations that keep the organization running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR or People Operations career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain exposure across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and general HR administration.

You will work closely with external HR and recruiting partners who provide subject-matter expertise and sourcing support, while owning internal coordination, documentation, and follow-through that ensures people processes run efficiently and accurately. This is an execution-focused role designed to keep operations running smoothly while offering broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

Recruiting Administration

  • Maintain ATS records, interview notes, and status updates.

  • Support offer and hiring logistics as needed.

  • Ensure a professional, timely, and consistent candidate experience.

Onboarding & New Hire Support

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics from offer acceptance through Day 1.

  • Ensure new hire paperwork, system access, and documentation are completed on time.

  • Maintain onboarding checklists, templates, and schedules.

  • Support follow-ups during the first 30/60/90 days.

People Operations Administration

  • Manage payroll updates, employee changes, and benefits enrollments.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.

  • Support benefits and payroll-related employee questions by routing or escalating to external HR resources when needed.

  • Assist with leave-of-absence tracking and documentation.

General Administrative Support

  • Manage HR inboxes, calendars, and requests.

  • Maintain organized digital employee files and documentation.

  • Assist with audits, data clean-up, and reporting preparation.

  • Support People Team projects, leadership initiatives, and additional administrative tasks as assigned.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, People Operations, Recruiting coordination, Office Management, or a related operations role.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfort working with systems such as HRIS, ATS, spreadsheets, and documentation tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines reliably.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional discretion when handling sensitive information.

  • Willingness to learn and grow across multiple areas of People Operations.
