Senior Analyst (Scrum Master)

Position Overview

The Technology Solutions team is seeking an experienced DevOps Scrum Master to lead the implementation of Azure DevOps (ADO) and project management standards rooted in Scrum methodology. In this role, you will champion Agile best practices, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate is a highly effective communicator with deep expertise in Agile, Scrum, and technical project management.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Governance and Process Evolution

• Contribute to the evolution of internal Agile standards and processes.

• Establish and reinforce clear standards across development teams while driving a culture of accountability and ownership.

• Ensure that processes and tools support successful sprint cycles, with progress and quality tracked through transparent metrics.

• Guide teams in Scrum practices, facilitate events as necessary, and recommend strategic adjustments to alignment.

Scrum Facilitation

• Ensure consistency across all Scrum ceremonies and daily practices.

• Focus on the immediate removal of impediments and provide actionable feedback to support continuous improvement.

• Ensure product delivery goals are clear, prioritized, and fully understood by the execution team.

• Assist with backlog refinement and sprint preparation to ensure alignment on release objectives.

Data-Driven Project Management

• Collaborate with team leaders to define scope, dependencies, timelines, and delivery schedules.

• Track impediments, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive resolution and follow-through.

• Develop and maintain Agile planning tools, including Azure DevOps (ADO) dashboards and Power BI reporting.

• Utilize data-driven metrics to communicate team velocity, quality, and potential bottlenecks to stakeholders.

• Leverage performance insights to refine development lifecycle standards.

Cross-Team Coordination and Product Mindset

• Proactively manage cross-team dependencies to ensure visibility and alignment across all delivery streams.

• Lead the Scrum of Scrums process to surface risks and resolve blockers affecting shared milestones.

• Coach teams to adopt a product-oriented mindset, emphasizing customer value and business outcomes.

Coaching and Continuous Improvement

• Assess team maturity levels and implement tailored coaching opportunities.

• Propose enhancements to ADO standards as teams evolve or as new organizational opportunities arise.

• Lead retrospectives to identify and implement changes that boost overall productivity and performance.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to the Scrum Master role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Agile project management tools; strong analytical and reporting skills (specifically Power BI) are preferred.
