A world-class SaaS company is seeking a Cloud Financial Operations Director to build and lead a mature, enterprise-grade FinOps function. This highly visible role will directly support cloud financial strategy, cost optimization, and long-range forecasting across a global cloud infrastructure and services environment.
You’ll bring deep financial modeling experience, cloud cost optimization strategy, and a sharp communication style that bridges engineering, finance, and C-suite stakeholders. This is not a passive reporting role—we’re looking for someone who owns the numbers, shapes the strategy, and drives measurable outcomes across the business.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolve the company’s FinOps practice across all major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Own subscription gross margin modeling and analysis, including cloud hosting, support, and operations spend
• Develop a 5-year financial model tied to cloud infrastructure, performance, and profitability
• Actively monitor and reduce cloud costs through automation, vendor incentives, tagging/governance, and tooling
• Build cross-functional dashboards and reporting tools for leadership visibility and accountability
• Collaborate with finance, engineering, product, and procurement teams to embed FinOps into operations

📌 Requirements:

• 5+ years in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or related SaaS/cloud finance roles
• Fluency in tools like CloudZero, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
• Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP pricing models and services
• Exceptional communication and project management skills
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or similar; CPA or FinOps certification a plus
