Technical Program Manager, Platform
Technical Program Manager, Platform
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of programs that deliver our platform to enterprise customers. You will partner closely with engineering, research, and product leaders to turn technical roadmaps into customer-ready deployments. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, applied AI, and enterprise delivery — ensuring features move from development to secure, scalable, and reliable production environments.
This position is critical in driving alignment across teams, creating clear execution plans, and ensuring timely delivery of platform features and customer deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
-
Own the planning and delivery of key platform programs, driving features from ideation through release.
-
Define milestones, timelines, and dependencies across engineering, research, and GTM functions.
-
Identify risks and mitigation strategies early, keeping teams unblocked.
Cloud & Infrastructure Program Management
-
Partner with engineering leads to deploy services in multi-cloud infrastructure.
-
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security requirements are met in customer-facing deployments.
-
Drive security and compliance readiness (SOC2, security monitoring).
AI/ML Integration
-
Collaborate with research and engineering to operationalize AI models into production.
-
Support model lifecycle management: training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
-
Coordinate cross-functional input (data, labeling, fine-tuning, APIs) to accelerate model readiness.
Stakeholder Alignment
-
Act as the connective tissue between engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
-
Provide clear status reporting and dashboards to leadership and stakeholders.
-
Facilitate prioritization discussions and drive alignment on tradeoffs.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
-
5–8+ years in program or technical project management, preferably in a cloud or platform company.
-
Proven track record of delivering enterprise software or SaaS features to customers.
-
Experience with cloud infrastructure programs (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
-
Background working with or around AI/ML projects, even if not as a practitioner.
Technical Skills
-
Strong working knowledge of cloud services, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
-
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (training pipelines, APIs, data workflows).
-
Ability to use tools like Linear, Notion, and GitHub for execution tracking.
-
Comfortable creating dashboards, tracking KPIs, and reporting at an executive level.
Soft Skills & Attributes
-
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
-
Excellent communicator, able to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Structured problem solver who can simplify complexity into clear next steps.
-
Thrives in ambiguous, dynamic environments and can adapt plans quickly.
We Would Love To See
-
Direct experience in AI/ML product or infrastructure programs.
-
Experience with enterprise customer deployments (security reviews, onboarding, scaling).
-
Hands-on comfort with Python, Rust, JavaScript, or similar coding languages.
-
Experience supporting SOC2, ISO 27001, or equivalent security audits.
-
Prior work in a fast-moving startup environment.
