Assistant Branch Manager – Fowler
A leading manufacturer and supplier serving the commercial trailer, RV, marine, heavy-duty, and agriculture markets is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for its facility in Fowler, CA. This organization operates multiple manufacturing and distribution locations across the U.S. and Canada and is committed to superior quality, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Branch Manager plays a key role in supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving branch growth, and ensuring superior customer service. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment and enjoys developing teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Branch Manager in directing day-to-day operations, including distribution, customer service, warehouse, and delivery functions.

Assist with inventory management, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and other operational tasks to maintain efficiency and service levels.

Help plan and prioritize work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and alignment with business objectives.

Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members while assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training.
-
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service by resolving issues quickly and effectively.

Step in as acting Branch Manager when needed to ensure smooth operations.

Utilize computer systems and reporting tools for order processing, inventory tracking, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
-
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
At least 4 years of supervisory experience

Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a customer-first mindset

Comfortable with computer systems and able to train others effectively
