Job Title: Vice President of IT & Digital Strategy

Overview: Are you a focused and motivated leader seeking a unique opportunity to advance your career? We are looking for a Vice President of IT & Digital Strategy to join a rapidly growing organization ranked among the top 50 companies in our Industry in the U.S. This newly created role will drive our digital transformation and IT initiatives across the nation, reporting directly to the COO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital and technology strategy that aligns with company growth objectives, refreshing the roadmap annually.
  • Lead IT systems and support services to ensure operations are reliable, scalable, and customer-focused.
  • Evaluate current business information systems, identify innovative technologies, and leverage opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Manage third-party vendors and collaborate with internal teams to define technology requirements.
  • Oversee outsourced help desk functionality and envision future improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms, developing and executing a cybersecurity roadmap that complies with regulatory standards.
  • Enhance interdepartmental collaboration by aligning partner company projects and reporting on strategic initiatives that support growth objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with all levels of management to drive technology integration.
  • Manage technology budgets and negotiate contracts with service providers.
  • Develop an IT M&A playbook and provide operational insights during acquisitions, leading successful integrations.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits nationwide to ensure technological excellence.
  • Formulate and communicate the digital strategy to promote company-wide engagement and understanding.
  • Prepare and present updates on digital and IT initiatives to executives and board members.

Preferred Experience, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience: 10+ years in a VP of IT role or similar, with nationwide technology management experience. Private equity experience in integrating acquisitions is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required. Experience with Cloud-centric IT architecture, ADP, Acumatica, and Aspire is preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong initiative in personal development and ability to lead cross-functionally. Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels and a resourceful, independent team player.
  • Delivering Success: High integrity and pride in team accomplishments, with strong organizational skills to prioritize competing needs.
  • Motivation: Enjoyment of hands-on challenges and start-up environments.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Willingness to be on-call and work weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to travel nationwide and use standard office equipment.
