Job Opportunity: Strategic Account Executive
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Executive to join our dynamic team! In this crucial role, you will nurture, maintain, and expand relationships with our key clients in the Food and Beverage sector. This position requires a unique blend of sales expertise, account management skills, and technical knowledge to effectively address the needs of our clients. You will report to the Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at our West Loop office in Chicago. This is a hybrid position that requires some travel to the West Loop office, but you do not need to permanently reside in Chicago.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Account Growth: Develop and implement strategic account plans to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new product introductions.
  • Technical Consultation: Leverage your understanding of our technology solutions to provide consultative support in day-to-day client interactions, with assistance from our technical resources.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to guide strategic decision-making and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to establish terms that align with their needs and our business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (product, operations, finance, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services, enhancing client satisfaction.

 
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience managing C-suite client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and account management processes
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate technology solutions
  • Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing account plans to drive revenue growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple accounts effectively

 
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (required)
  • 2-5 years of experience in Food and Beverage (QSR) sales (required)
  • 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage (QSR) tech sales (preferred)

 
Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally

 
Travel Requirements:

  • Client and tradeshow travel required, up to 30%, reviewed quarterly as needed
