Plant HR Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to ensure a productive, safe, and positive work environment at ~40 person manufacturing plant. This role requires hands-on leadership and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract skilled labor and management professionals
- Develop onboarding programs tailored to plant employees.
- Create initiatives to enhance employee retention and satisfaction.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values.
- Lead efforts to improve communication and engagement between plant employees and management.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with safety teams to develop and enforce workplace safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits and training sessions on compliance and safety topics.
Training & Development:
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for workforce development.
- Oversee leadership development initiatives for supervisors and managers.
- Promote cross-training to enhance operational flexibility.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee productivity.
- Develop recognition programs to reward outstanding performance.
HR Administration:
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and time-tracking systems
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor and manage workforce attendance and absenteeism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.

- Base salary of $80K-$100K with comprehensive benefits package and 15% target bonus
