Learning System Specialist

Chicago, United States – 3 days onsite

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning System Specialist to join our Learning & Development team to manage the administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of our Learning Management System (LMS) – Docebo.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with the L&D team to develop and maintain a comprehensive strategy for utilizing LMS capabilities to enhance learning and development across all offices
  • LMS Administration:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Docebo LMS, such as group creations, course assignments, and facilitating other functions, such as compliance to upload courses
    • Ensure the LMS is correctly configured to meet organizational needs.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Implement and optimize features such as Discover, Coach & Share, channels, and catalogs.
  • Curating and managing learning content:
    • Manage Go1 content integration and curate content that aligns with organizational goals.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and create learning paths and curriculums based on employees’ job roles and skill requirements.
  • User analysis and engagement:
    • Generate scheduled reports on LMS usage, learner progress, and content effectiveness based on stakeholder requests and feedback
    • Identify, analyze, and make suggestions based on LMS activity
    • Create and maintain internal and external user groups, roles, and permissions on the backend
    • Provide technical support to global LMS users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator, preferably with Docebo.
  • Strong understanding of LMS features such as Discover, Coach & Share, channels, and catalogs.
  • Experience in managing skills and tags within an LMS to enhance search and recommendation functionalities.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and best practices, AICC/SCORM standards, e-learning authoring and collaboration tools, and other technologies.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and demands
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
