Data Integration Principal

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to join our team in developing data-driven, analytical, and predictive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient data extraction processes to meet the needs of clients and internal stakeholders while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Extract data from various client systems to ensure seamless and complete data transfer.
• Collaborate directly with clients (onsite or remotely) to extract data from multiple, diverse systems.
• Develop and maintain data extraction processes within client systems to ensure continuous, reliable data flow.
• Document data extraction workflows and provide ongoing support to clients for consistent data delivery.
• Analyze and manipulate large data sets, using tools such as SageMaker, Clover, and Athena, to effectively map data from source systems to target systems.
• Optimize data extraction processes for improved efficiency, scalability, and quality.
• Import data into internal systems, ensuring completeness and meaning retention.
• Validate data to ensure it meets data science and system requirements for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data extraction issues that may arise.
• Identify data quality concerns, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor data integration and extraction processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to enhance data extraction and integration processes, ensuring scalability and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas for easy access and analysis.
• Travel periodically within the United States as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in databases, data extraction, integration, or a similar field.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach others.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.
• In-depth understanding of data integration and extraction technologies and processes.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience in data validation and quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
