About the Opportunity

Hirewell is partnering with a growing distribution company to find a highly technical Scrum Master / Technical Business Analyst to lead Agile delivery and drive business analysis across its enterprise IT landscape, including ERP systems, integration platforms, cloud data warehousing, collaboration tools, custom applications, and API/EDI integrations. This role blends Agile facilitation with hands-on business analysis: you’ll run sprint ceremonies and keep delivery on track, while also digging into requirements, process mapping, and UAT alongside developers, QA, and business stakeholders. The person in this seat acts as a servant leader, technical facilitator, and business analysis partner, turning business needs into actionable backlog items and ensuring quality releases.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Drive predictable sprint execution by tracking goals, capacity, velocity, and delivery commitments
• Remove impediments affecting development, integrations, data delivery, QA, infrastructure, or release execution
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
• Lead requirements discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define current- and future-state processes
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable deliverables
• Partner with developers and architects to validate solution feasibility, integration impacts, and data mapping needs
• Support process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap analysis
• Plan UAT: define test scenarios, validate outcomes, and capture business sign-off before release
• Coordinate technical delivery across enterprise applications, integration platforms, and custom systems
• Maintain Agile boards, epics, user stories, and sprint backlogs in Azure DevOps and/or Jira
• Build and maintain dashboards showing sprint progress, risks, blockers, and release readiness
• Coordinate QA, UAT, integration testing, regression testing, and release readiness
• Coordinate Agile delivery activities involving external vendors and implementation partners
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, delivery risks, and process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements
• Provide concise sprint and project status updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Maintain action logs, decision records, and project documentation

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting technical IT or software delivery teams
• 7+ years of business analysis or systems analysis experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, or custom software delivery
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise applications, software delivery, systems analysis, or IT project management
• Experience supporting Agile delivery using Azure DevOps and/or Jira
• Experience coordinating delivery across ERP, integration platforms, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS systems
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, backlog management, and QA/UAT workflows
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, and gap analysis
• Working knowledge of enterprise platforms such as ERP systems, integration tools, cloud data platforms, and collaboration suites
• Ability to assess technical dependencies, integration impacts, and deployment readiness
• Ability to build dashboards and delivery reports in Azure DevOps/Jira or similar tools
