Department Overview

The Technology Solutions department designs and delivers technology solutions that create efficiency, mitigate risk and grow revenue for the firm. The team is also responsible for defining, managing and executing a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework, with a focus on technical excellence, secure infrastructure, and information security embedded throughout all functions.

Position Responsibilities

This blended role combines operational security responsibilities with support for cybersecurity projects and programs, including maintaining security tools, monitoring compliance, assessing risk and addressing security issues. The role provides hands on support across multiple security technologies and assists with incident response, investigation and reporting. Candidates should have a strong passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to promoting security best practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing cybersecurity operational procedures including incident and alert handling, daily operational tasks and security log reviews
  • Developing and updating cybersecurity documentation and procedures, including design and architectural documentation for the firm’s security solutions
  • Supporting cybersecurity projects by completing assigned tasks and deliverables
  • Partnering with Service Desk, Systems, Networking and Application Development teams to implement security requirements and ensure successful project delivery and operational support
  • Implementing and maintaining security enhancements across the technology environment, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Azure Cloud, DLP and associated solutions or services
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cybersecurity tools
  • Collaborating with internal and external technology teams to deliver solutions on time

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity
  • 1+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Experience using the Microsoft Defender security stack
  • Experience with the following is a plus:
    • Python
    • PowerShell
    • C# / .NET technologies
    • Automation of routine tasks using a scripting or programming language
    • Networking and TCP/IP
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day to day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputs
  • Enthusiastic about working in a hybrid, in office culture
