Accounts Payable Temp
Remote (3-6 Month Contract)

A consumer products company is looking for an Accounts Payable Temp to support its accounting team on a contract basis. This role covers core AP functions including invoice processing, PO matching, vendor management, and support for month-end close. It is a strong fit for an experienced AP professional looking for flexible, fully remote contract work.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter invoices into the AP system, including PO matching in SAP
• Prepare and process payments via wire, ACH, and check
• Assist with cash forecasting and obtain invoice approvals as needed
• Maintain accounting ledgers and assist with reconciliation of AP sub-ledgers
• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end close
• Manage vendor accounts and respond to vendor inquiries, including processing refunds
• Audit and process travel and expense reports, including American Express reconciliation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 4+ years of AP experience
• SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
• Concur T&E experience preferred
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and general accounting knowledge
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
