Senior Java Engineer

THE ROLE: As an experienced Java Developer, you will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and scaling our robust platform. Your responsibilities will include gaining a deep understanding of our current codebase and architectural design to enable further expansion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: You will apply expertise in concurrent programming, caching techniques, reactive programming, and fundamental OOP principles, among others. You will primarily work with technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Apache Ignite, MySQL, ActiveMQ (Artemis), Jenkins, and Linux servers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of Java development experience. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and coding best practices.

Experience with: Java versions 13, 15, & 17 Spring/Spring Boot/Hibernate Apache Ignite ActiveMQ Artemis/JMS RxJava ORM/JPA Java Concurrency

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Linux, DevOps practices, and relational databases. Ability to produce secure, clean, stable, and high-performing code.

Interest in Fintech. Capable of designing, planning, and implementing solutions in a large-scale enterprise setting. Authoring architectural documentation is also expected.
