About the Role

As a Wi-Fi Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will collaborate with a global team of firmware engineers, digital hardware experts, and RF hardware specialists to develop state-of-the-art wireless broadband products and technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrating proficiency in embedded Linux processes.
• Understanding digital wireless communications.
• Leveraging 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development using C on the Linux platform.
• Adapting quickly to new technologies.
• Working effectively both independently and in teams, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Managing embedded devices using state machines.
• Participating in all phases of the software development life-cycle.
• Applying excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Utilizing Git for version control, including merging and rebasing.
• Holding a BS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrating effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with bash shell scripting and/or Python.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ARM processors and embedded Linux.
• Some C++ development experience.
• Working knowledge of Cross Compilers.
• Experience with OpenWRT.
• Proficiency in communication protocols like SPI, I2C, Ethernet, etc.
• A commitment to writing clean and maintainable code.
