Production Supervisor (Green Bay, WI)
Job Purpose
Supervise the day-to-day production flow of the plant for the corresponding shift while leading the front line production partners in ensuring productivity, safety, quality, partner engagement, overtime management, inventory management, and policy compliance. Ensures that productivity goals are met and products are ready to be delivered to customers.
Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Supervises others to deliver prescribed operational outcomes while working within established systems.
- Supervises department resources to ensure the on schedule production of the plant to eliminate customer
- shortages and ensure product quality. Responsible for helping with and filling in any production roles needed to meet daily production goals.
Safety, Health and Environment
- Supports others by carrying out simple health and environment tasks using established procedures.
- Implement and maintain a culture of safety and engagement within the production department.
Inventory Management
- Monitors and maintains proper inventory levels for the location, ensuring appropriate quantities while controlling costs.
Improvement / Implementation
- Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then uses established change management programs to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
- Monitors productivity performance, weekly payroll and incentive calculations for accuracy.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives for the production department.
- Ensures the highest quality for all products being processed, assisting with audits, TruCount, and any other corporate initiatives to maintain and improve product quality.
Work Scheduling / Allocation
- Responds to given priorities by determining own work schedule on a daily basis. Communicates daily with the Service and sales departments as well as the office to coordinate activities relative to customer care and new account installation.
Performance Management
- Improves personal performance and coaches others when required using performance management systems.
- Trains and ensures that all employees are meeting production goals and objectives and work to maximize performance for all assigned tasks. Involved in coaching, developing, and giving feedback to employees including performance reviews, discipline and other necessary documentation.
Staffing
- Active involvement with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training personnel for the location.

Education
General Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
General Experience
Computer proficiency, which includes the Microsoft Office Suite.
Managerial Experience
Previous management or lead position, preferred.
