Outside Sales Assistant
Job Description :
SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, assisting Business Development Managers (“BDMs”) with day-to-day activities, generating reports, maintaining the accuracy of data in Salesforce, creating presentations, setting up meetings, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain impeccable data integrity within the Salesforce system
- Assist with the coverage of existing customers
- Understand the full portfolio of Sales tools, including; marketing, data, payments, relationship management and service.
- Work with the BDMs to develop strategic sales campaigns
- Assist the BDMs with customer presentations
- Develop a network of contacts that will facilitate future sales
- Assist with liquor and gaming license applications
- Work with Lead Gen Group to market to potential customers
- Provide feedback to marketing group to help improve current marketing strategies
- Market non-gaming products and services to prospective and existing customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Previous outside sales experience preferred
- Strong professional presence
- Ability to adapt, organize and multi-task
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management
- Extensive travel within your assigned region
- Ability to interact with local bar, restaurant, and truck stop owners as well as Commanders of non-profit organizations
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Sit for prolonged periods.
- Calculate figures and amounts.
- Analyze financial data.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to talk or hear
- Occasionally required to lift/push light weights less than 25 to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth, and ability to adjust or focus
- Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Continually required to report to the office
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate
Experience:
- Business Development: 2 years (Preferred)
- Administrative Duties: 2 years (Preferred)
Education:
