About the Role

As a Network Performance Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our products and applications. Your role involves conducting rigorous performance and stability tests on new and existing products, contributing directly to the enhancement of user experience and product reliability.


  • Translate technical test results into actionable insights to enhance user experience.
  • Conduct performance and stability tests for new product introductions.
  • Evaluate performance and stability of existing products before new releases.
  • Assess client and device management capacity under high-load scenarios.
  • Simulate high-traffic conditions, resource constraints, and extreme data inputs.
  • Develop and execute automated, semi-automated, and manual test cases for high-stress scenarios.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues discovered during testing.
  • Generate detailed reports with clear visualizations of test results.
  • Assist in creating comprehensive test plans for various products and applications.
  • Replicate user-reported issues to facilitate troubleshooting and resolution.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Networks, Wireless Networks, Computer Science/Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience or recent/upcoming graduate.
  • Proficiency in system architecture, user behavior analysis, CSS/XPath selectors, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with network application management; experience with UniFi is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies such as WiFi, TCP/IP, switching, and routing.
  • Knowledge of WiFi networks and RF systems.
  • Experience with network testing tools like Wireshark, iPerf3, and WiFi analyzers.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripting, and Python programming.
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI) practices.
  • Understanding of enterprise networks and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in throughput testing methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
