ERP Business Process Analyst – Manufacturing & Planning

Hirewell has been exclusively retained by a premier global product solutions provider who services more than 4,000 customers across diverse end markets that include mechanical/HVAC, industrial, fire protection, oil and gas, commercial and residential construction, agriculture, food and chemical processing and waterworks.

This REMOTE Analyst position provides support to Business Process Leads, IT Helpdesk, Corporate IT Developers & end-users on the ERP platform with monitoring/troubleshooting day-to-day activities within the manufacturing process.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-4 years of solid Infor M3 ERP or related ERP platform experience.

Job Summary: The ERP Business Process Analyst provides end-user support with monitoring/troubleshooting day to day activities within the Manufacturing Process to include, but not limited to shop floor operations, including BOM’s (Bill of Materials), BOO’s (Bill of Operations), item master, work centers, costing, manufacturing planning, planned MO’s (Manufacturing Orders), product structures, forecasting and other ancillary systems, including setup and testing of those various manufacturing functions in the ERP test environment. Supports the integration efforts surrounding mergers and acquisitions with data uploads, system configuration, user training, testing, and day-to-day systems support. Assists Business Process Leads with system upgrades, where applicable. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Support to existing field operations as front-line contact for issue resolution/escalation and to monitor for potential problem areas, system improvements, and additional training.
  • Testing various system configurations with the guidance of the Business Process Lead and end-users to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support new implementations, mergers, and acquisitions with end-user training/testing including, user documentation and data uploads.
  • Collaboration with Business Process Leads and IT development/technical teams.

Scope Data/Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Works with business units.
  • Ability to travel (30% - 40%) for implementations and business process enhancement support.
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed.
  • Will be required to work with the user community, test specs, and progress through the software development life cycle, where applicable.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Traits:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing principles, with strong collaborative skills in a team setting.
  • 2 to 4 years of ERP experience, preferably with Infor M3 Manufacturing/Supply Chain or related ERP experience.
