The Position

We are seeking a talented and self-driven Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should enjoy solving challenging problems and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Refine potential design concepts with senior team members
• Select components and enter schematics for analog, digital, and RF circuit designs
• Participate in HW/SW system integration, debug, bring-up, and verification of new hardware platforms
• Collaborate with other team members to solve issues and deliver the best possible product
• Technical documentation and review

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
• 5+ years relevant experience (3+ years with MS)
• Communications systems experience
• High-speed digital design (incl FPGA, DDR, and/or JESD204B/C), or high-speed D/A-A/D converter experience including direct-IF/RF applications, or RF design concepts
• Experience with at least one schematic capture/PCB layout package
• Bring-up, verification, and debug of new hardware platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work productively and autonomously, whether on a small team or solo
• Team player that can work and collaborate cross-function and cross-site
• Self-starter that can work independently and has the ability to take initiative
• Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment
• Ability to adapt and quickly pick up new technologies
• Be able to work on and resolve issues in many diverse areas of the system

Preferred Experience

• Digital wireless communications experience
• FPGA-based designs experience
• VHDL or Verilog
• Software-defined radio designs experience
• OFDM/OFDMA systems experience
• mmWave technology experience
