Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the digital marketing initiatives for their investment and self-storage business. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive investor engagement and awareness, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Your expertise in digital marketing channels, analytics, and campaign optimization will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives and expanding our investor base.


1. Develop and implement a results-driven digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and enhance customer engagement for our self-storage business as well as current and potential investors.

2. Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.

3. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify digital marketing trends, investor behaviors, opportunities, and best practices in the self-storage industry.

4. Drive website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates through effective SEO techniques, compelling content, landing page optimization, and user experience enhancements.

5. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, asset management, investor relations and assorted executives, to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that align with business goals.

6. Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

7. Utilize marketing automation tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to optimize lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer/investor retention strategies.

8. Manage the social media presence of our self-storage business, including content creation, community management, and social advertising campaigns.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital marketing technologies, tools, and best practices, and implement relevant strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

10. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to manage digital marketing projects, ensure deliverables are met, and maintain budgetary guidelines.

11. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, including data privacy laws and advertising standards, while executing digital marketing campaigns.


1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, business, or a related field. Relevant certifications in digital marketing are a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role, preferably in the self-storage industry or related fields.

3. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.

4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track and measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights.

5. Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and content management systems (CMS).

6. Familiarity with website development, UX/UI best practices, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

8. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

9. Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, industry standards, and best practices.

10. Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas to drive business growth.
