Customer Sales Representative

Customer Sales / Business Development Representative (Experience Required)
We are seeking an engaged, self-motivated logistics brokerage sales representative that thrives in a start-up
environment.
Sales representatives will be equipped and ready to land new business for the organization through building on an
already established sales portfolio of clients. They will be responsible for the full sales cycle: prospecting, relationship
building and maintenance, customer service and operations.
Responsibilities:
• Help drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing and account penetration
• Strengthen sales techniques
• Take a proactive approach in learning the importance of each task and how it affects the entire
sales/procurement process
• Perform all tasks to support their existing accounts
• Manage operational activities of loads to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain new relationships, both within the company and externally
• Actively participate in company-wide brainstorming and development sessions
Requirements:
• Active and current book of business that can be transferred – minimum of 25 loads per week
• 2-8 years of industry sales experience
• Ability to quickly reach minimum sales goals
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent communications skills, including comfort speaking on the phone, working within a group and
strong writing abilities
• Superb organizational and time-management skills
• A self-motivated work ethic
• Ability to always treat others as you want to be treated yourself
• The want to do the right thing regardless of self-interest
• A desire to be an integral part of a company from the ground-up
• Strong decision-making ability
