Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, seeks a Corporate Paralegal to join their legal team. This role involves providing vital support to the Legal & Risk Team, assisting with the daily management of legal matters, including maintaining databases and handling various projects. Reporting to the Paralegal Manager, this position collaborates with legal and business partners across the organization to advance business objectives within a collaborative in-house legal department environment.


  • Manage legal matters through the company’s Smartsheet system for review by the in-house Legal Team.
  • Maintain and update contract and document management systems.
  • Organize electronic files of legal documents.
  • Name and electronically file various contracts and legal documents according to company protocols.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects within the Legal department.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to address queries and resolve issues related to commercial contracts.
  • Draft correspondence and schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to other Legal professionals, including preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and communications.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all business dealings.
  • Adhere to the core values of respect and care for others.

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical office environment with extended computer use; prolonged periods of sitting.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new roles and responsibilities.

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Certified Paralegal with a minimum of three years’ experience in a legal setting, preferably corporate in-house.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting contracts.
  • Comfort working with confidential documents and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferably experienced with Smartsheet or other legal databases and SharePoint.


  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is required
