Job Title: Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation Attorney

Location: West Loop Chicago

Summary: We are seeking a motivated Attorney to join our esteemed team at a Chicago-based, mid-sized law firm specializing in Plaintiff/Petitioner Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury and workers’ compensation law, demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills, and exhibit a proactive work ethic. Bilingual proficiency is advantageous, and prior experience in both third-party and workers’ compensation law is required. This attorney will focus on representing injured individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.


  • Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal guidelines.

  • Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and others to build compelling case strategies.

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate on behalf of clients.

  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.

  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and courtroom presentation.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar in good standing.

  • 1-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury and workers’ compensation.

  • Strong understanding of personal injury and workers’ compensation law, with a track record of successful case outcomes.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Bilingual proficiency (preferred but not required).

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the growth of the firm.
