Application Support Engineer

Position Summary:
This role involves managing all technical aspects of support and configuration in the electronic trading software environment. Knowledge of financial trading is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver, customize, and support innovative software products for the financial trading industry.
• Collaborate with traders, engineers, electronic trading counterparties, and market data feed vendors to resolve production issues and manage non-production projects efficiently.
• Handle electronic trading connectivity certification, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical field.
• Strong experience with MS Windows; Linux experience is a plus.
• Experience with scripting languages is a plus.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with the financial industry is a plus.
• Experience with Perl, Python, and XML is a plus.
