Yello is a 180 person SaaS-based recruitment technology organization. Yello’s internal Talent Acquisition Manager went on maternity leave at a time of high growth, so they needed a turn-key recruiting solution to prevent a loss of hiring momentum. Given the competitive nature of Chicago’s tech scene, it was a critical time for Yello to leverage an experienced partner with deep market knowledge.

Describe the project or task the provider helped with:
I was to go out on parental leave and was working as the only Recruiter at Yello at the time. We not only needed recruiting to be done while I was out, but we needed a presence in the office that could handle candidate experience and hiring manager meetings.

What do you like best?
Hirewell integrated into Yello seamlessly....specifically Keisha at Hirewell. She is a well-rounded Recruiter that respects her candidates and client alike. Keisha is adaptable and a fast-learner. Her openness and warmth allowed her to quickly connect with managers and interviewers here at Yello. Hirewell also made it possible for her to be onsite often which was important to us. Again, she was the main contact for Yello recruiting while I was on leave so we needed a face in the office for candidates and Yello hiring teams.

What do you dislike?
I think it would be unfair to mention anything here. There hasn't been anything that I've been unhappy with in our partnership.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?
Hirewell helped us hire top talent in the Chicago market including tech talent. Their sourcing ability helped sell us on the partnership. Their RPO offering was something we were searching for specifically as we needed someone to embody Yello fully but could go above being a contract recruiter or staffin firm offering the sourcing support and even an ATS if needed.
