Strategic Account Executive

Pay: 
$80,000

Our client is hiring sales hunters who will be regionally-based across the U.S. to sell our cloud-based e-commerce services to software and other digital products companies looking to expand their global online sales. You will prospect, nurture and close deals with organizations ranging in size from mid-market to enterprise. The sales process is complex and requires intelligence, intuition and drive as well as a strong desire to establish long-term value for clients. The ability to travel is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, close and manage new software and Cloud industry accounts with a strong emphasis on B2B
  • Apply a consultative / problem-solving approach to fulfill client requirements
  • Partner with internal and external project resources to ensure the right solution is defined and implemented for the ongoing success and satisfaction of your clients
  • Achieve and/or exceed your sales quota
  • Attains sales quota by creating and executing a business plan to exceed revenue goals and expand cleverbridge’s value
  • Develops mutually beneficial relationships with C suite and other key decision makers in assigned verticals
  • Leverages knowledge of prospect’s business and industry
  • Establishes and executes sales strategies that effectively present a solid business case to prospects and using competitive intelligence 
  • Leads sales engagement and involves resources as needed to address prospect’s needs and business problem(s)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated success as a sales hunter – initiating and developing new accounts
  • 7+ years of consultative selling experience,  particularly with business applications, e-commerce or IT consulting services
  • Proven ability to sell to VPs and C-level executives and serve as the “single face” to an account
  • Strong ability to prospect, close and manage complex sales cycles and accounts; such as leading RFP response, contract negotiation and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%-35%)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance, or enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) is a plus
  • Technical understanding of software and cloud-based services is a strong plus
  • Additional language skills are desirable since we are a global business
