Sr. Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

This position will involve significant collaboration with current clients and prospects on cybersecurity solutions. The individual will work with internal and external sales representatives, peer engineers, and channel partners to understand, research and scope client and business requirements. Technical and communication skills are very important to set up and deliver compelling presentations, solution demonstrations, and perform solution implementations.  

This role will be based in Chicago. Expected travel is not to exceed 20% in addition to regional day trips. We are employee owned and offer a comprehensive benefit package with a highly competitive compensation program.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Performing customer needs assessments and solution finding sessions 

· Contributing to account scheme definition and review actively

· Reviewing customer operations for improving business process opportunities

· Determining areas of deficiencies within client environment, as well as definition solutions to overcome discovered deficiencies

· Defining the best products to address requirements of prospective opportunities

· Designing and delivering product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales condition

· Requesting and coordinating resources required to support sales department

· Providing responses for product and technical requests

· Implementing technologies in areas of expertise

· Providing knowledge and training on products to peers, presales and sales staff in the organization

· Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company products, functions, features and benefits 

· Getting associated with user groups, industry groups, etc… 

· Providing specifications and quotes to prospective clients

· Revising and enhancing product documentation

· Maintaining and acquiring technical certifications on required vendor platforms

Skills

· Knowledge of security industry, common vulnerabilities and exploits and their associated business impact

· Proven success in presenting technology as a business solution technically and at high-level, depending on audience

· Able to make effective presentations or demonstrations in time constrained situations

· Able to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment

· Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments and take disciplinary action wherever appropriate

· Effective verbal, written and presentation skills

· Good team leading ability and managing additional technical resources for meeting the account needs

· Ability to learn new technical skills quick and effectively

· Solid knowledge, experience, and\or Certifications with Security and WAN\LAN\WLAN Networking Solutions including, but not all required:

     o Palo Alto Networks

     o Check Point

     o Symantec\Blue Coat

     o Forescout

     o Cloud Security

     o End-Point

     o Mobile

     o Security Analytics

     o Virtualization

     o Encryption

Education and Qualifications

· 4-year degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science or business fields (preferred)

· 5+ years of experience working with security and networking solutions     

· Experience presenting solutions to Executive Management teams
