Market6 is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to help us build
out a solution pipeline for ingesting interesting data sources,
cleaning and analyzing that data, and powering business insights
for our customers through our REST API.
Responsibilities: This section captures the 6 to 9 primary responsibilities performed in this position. It is

? Collaborating with other technical leaders to design scalable solutions for ingesting and
processing external data sources
? Develop and evolve Market6’s REST API
? Utilize Agile practices to deliver value to ourcustomers in a timely manner
? Cultivate best practices within the engineering groups
? Investigate, assess, and apply new technologies, tools, and processes

? 3-5 years development experience with a primary focus in .NET
? Experience developing REST APIs, particularly with ASP.NET Web API
? Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, with a preference for understanding the constraints and
practices around working with large datasets
? Experience developing in Python
? Passion for technology and using data and analytics to solve business problems
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Experience in an Agile work environment
? Experience with data science / analytics
? Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
? Experience with Linux system administration
? Experience with retailer, consumer goods, supply chain, or statistical software is a plus
