Director - Business Solutions

$170,000

Summary: To enable management to drive enterprise transformation by building holistic business solutions that enable business strategies and improve our customer’s experience. You will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders and partner with IT to help identify and take advantage of opportunities while providing guidance and ensuring solutions align with business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities: Working in tandem with the SVP of Business Transformation, apply a customer experience lens to support the long-term strategic roadmap for business processes and supporting technology. Collaborate with program / project teams to translate business requirements into innovative technological solutions. Identify and communicate organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes to key stakeholders. Be proactive in defining and modeling new ways of doing business by providing perspective into best use of newer technologies. Remain intimate and knowledgeable on cloud solutions. Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or another relevant academic discipline. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, Master’s, etc.).
  • 10+ years of business strategy and/or IT architecture experience.
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • The ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology.
  • The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
  • Be an agent for change; use business architecture to agitate and initiate action and challenge others via business designs and solutions, which drive requirements to the business operational and organizational structures.
  • Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and alignment to technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype.
  • Previous experience with SaaS CRM solutions, including Salesforce.com, with various ERPs, and Analytics tools.
  • The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
