Digital Ad Operations Analyst

Position Summary

The Digital Ad Operations Analyst will have an opportunity to be an active member of a team that shapes the monetization strategy for the organization. The Analyst will use ad server and programmatic data to identify areas to increase yield and grow future revenues for our website properties. The Analyst will also work closely with internal teams to track the success, and outcome of digital monetization initiatives, by communicating findings and translating them into actionable insights and recommendations. This role will also be responsible for campaign delivery, optimization and reporting on behalf of our clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in Legacy.com’s audience, advertising products, inventory, and pricing to support internal teams and external partners.
  • Use a variety of reporting tools and sources to analyze and evaluate daily performance across our sites, programmatic demand sources, and individual campaigns, and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare reports/dashboards that benchmark performance and detect areas of concern.
  • Conduct both ad hoc and ongoing historical analyses on inventory quality, viewability, and other KPIs. Clearly and visually communicate relevant findings and offer recommendations to grow revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the business value of various product initiatives.
  • Campaign trafficking and delivery management, including detecting and troubleshooting campaign issues and directly communicating with clients as needed.
  • Work closely alongside data vendors and technology team to define requirements and make recommendations that ensure seamless workflow and consistency in reporting infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in media, tech or advertising.
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills and comfortable working with very large sets of data
  • Experience using various reporting services, pulling data from multiple sources, and using databases to query and extract relevant data.  Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with publisher ad serving platforms (DFP), programmatic demand sources and third-party advertising servers, and a good working knowledge of ad tech and the programmatic marketplace.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, clients, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proactive, results-oriented with strong customer service orientation and excellent attention to detail
  • Proven team player with the ability to work independently
  • Professional verbal/written communication skills
