North America Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager

Role description:

The Continuous Improvement Manager reports to the North American Initiatives Manager and is primarily responsible for regional Supply Chain Process Improvement Project and Initiative Management and drive process simplification using the companies principles.  

Focus Areas and Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short, medium, long-term projects and effectively delivering within the defined scope of the project.
  • Leads efforts to improve operational excellence and drive simplification & cost reduction that leverages data driven insights and expertise. 
  • Effectively utilizes techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational and process problems and applying those insights to diverse, enterprise situations.
  • Provide thought leadership to and guides functional teams on emerging technology trends, specifically related to data quality and improvement.
  • Effectively influence any direct/indirect resources/partners, including contractors and other third-party resources.
  • Key reporting and Data Analytics lead with 3PL vendors.


  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with academic background in applied computer science or systems engineering plus business studies.
  • Previous Supply Chain Data Analytics and Project Management experience
  • Strong Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SAP Business Intelligence Suite is a plus.
  • Job is located in Chicago, IL and requires 25 – 40% travel.
  • Consumer package goods industry experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across technical teams and with business stakeholders and interact become change agent with various levels in the organization
