Call Center Recruiting Supervisor


We are seeking a direct hire Call Center Recruiting Supervisor to be located at our Lincolnshire facility. The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for the effective sourcing, screening, interviewing, and orientation of seasonal call center candidates and new hires for the Company. The Recruiting Supervisor is a direct hire position and will supervise and manage up to three seasonal contract Call Center Recruiters in support of ramping up from 200 to 600 call center people to cover the busy season from June to December.  This company likes metric's driven recruiters who have a process and can attain measurable results.

The winning candidate will work out of the Lincolnshire, IL Headquarters with the rest of the HR Leaders and Corporate Executives. The winning candidate will also have to travel to Aurora office frequently to support the staff the recruit for. Customer Service Call Center employees are typically paid $12 - $15/an hour and there can be up to 300 customer service employees in both Lincolnshire and Aurora at anytime. Both locations have product fulfillment areas as well. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Recruiting Manager and Stakeholders to create a seasonal hiring plan to meet the needs of the business
  • Responsible for hiring and managing a team of seasonal recruiters and support staff to ensure the business hiring goals are achieved
  • Responsible for setting clear seasonal recruiting goals and expectations including daily call/email metrics, daily interviews, weekly fill rates and turnover % ratios.
  • Ensure seasonal staff are meeting the recruiting goals and expectations set out at the start of season, counsil and create performance plans for recruiters not hitting their goals
  • Meet with seasonal team regularly to assess expectations vs actual status to determine if contact center class staffing objectives are being met
  • Set follow up plans with seasonal recruiting team based on the data from team meetings in order to ensure 100% class fill ratios
  • Create motivational plans to keep seasonal recruiting staff engaged and energized 
  • Communicate status updates consistently with the management team to ensure plan objectives are clear and being addressed and met
  • Develop seasonal advertising campaigns to attract applicants for Contact Center positions including internet job boards, local job fairs, college job boards, local newspaper ads, local business partnerships, etc. 
  • Track filled positions to reflect accurate numbers for reporting on the hiring plan
  • Interview candidates for open positions, and make good hiring decisions to focus on the candidate's "fit" with the job and the Company
  • Provide orientation, ensuring new hires' understanding of Company policies and procedures, while energizing them for their new job
  • Ensure that new hire paperwork is completed accurately
  • Take direction from other Human Resources contacts, who are overseeing the recruiting process on any given requisition
  • Work directly with Human Resources team, reporting progress, ideas, and plans to appropriate resources


  • 3-4 years high volume hourly/ customer service recruiting required.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Have the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Have a professional, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in Word and Excel.
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with hours outside core scheduled hours during peak season and when required.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelors or Equivalent certification strongly preferred.
